"Have u written or can u recommend a book to walk us thru these early weeks of feeding, training and socializing?"

Dear Keith...

Tuesday, April 17, 2007

We just bot a 2 week old filly. A friend bot one too she is 2 mo's. They are eating hay & drinking powdered milk from a bucket...What do u think about 2% milk w/karo syrup? Do u have any suggestions on feeding, vitamins, when to introduce them to the other horses in the pasture 12 in all. They are all much older. Should they be stalled separately..at this time they are together. We have been introducing the 2 week old to our older mare. She has never given birth. Can we stall them together eventually? How long will it take for them to get acquainted? etc... Have u written or can u recommend a book or (books) to specifically walk us thru these early weeks of feeding, training and socializing. Oh by the way... I thing you're the BEST! Have A Great Day! Kathy
