Dear Keith...
Thursday, December 28, 2006
I have adopted a 9year old wild mustang from a rescue facility. I have gotten several stories about his history such as he was caught in the wild than used in texas as a bucking bonco. He was moved to Pennsylvania where he was abused by the man there. He was than picked up from there and brought to Upstate New York to a riding facilityand used there as a fence horse. The women there claims 4 people have ridden him. She also added she gave him to the rescue facility because he was to unpredictable . I attempted to mount him and only got as far as my foot in the stirrup when he bolted throwing me to the ground and trying to cow kick me in the head before taking off in a buck with all four feet off the ground. I have a gentleman at present whom is willing to work with and uses your method . After watching him work with Spirit for only two hours . I now see a totally different horse. I was giving up hope before that I had tried for months to win his trust and getting only half way there. I understand it is not something that can be fixed overnight not knowing the full truth of this horse existance. He does let me know he has been hurt and he does want to trust me. I am interested in becoming a certified training. I own a 11 acre farm in upstate New York just 20 miles south of Buffalo/Niagra Falls area which I hope to make a riding facility .I would greatly appreciate any information letting to either help to learn more about becoming certified and turning my farm into a training facility uses your method. I would to attend your clinic when you are conducting it in the Buffalo area or somewhere close.
Thank you for your time. Jayne C |
